Election and Redistricting Information
As we approach the state primary election on September 6 and the state final election on November 8, I am very concerned that people across the city will be confused by the complicated redistricting and try to vote at the wrong polling location. We are also asking a lot of our volunteers and it is going to be very important that we all double checks our ballots. I know far too well that every single vote matters and there are critical races on the primary and final ballot this year.
As of Summer 2022, District 3 now consists of Framingham precincts 19, 20, and 21. This includes several streets that were previously in other Districts. The good news is that if you live in District 3, you vote at Brophy Elementary School. The bad news is that means a long drive for many of us who live on the eastern side of the district including some on and near parts of Brook Street who used to vote at Walsh.
In addition, within Framingham District 3, there are three different state districts. Some of us are in the 4th Middlesex district currently held by Rep. Danielle Gregoire, others in the 7th Middlesex represented by Jack Lewis, and some in Pheasant Hill are in the new 19th Worcester district.
Precinct | Polling Location | City District | State District | Current State Rep |
19 | Brophy | 3 | 7th Middlesex | Jack Lewis |
20 | Brophy | 3 | 7th Middlesex | Jack Lewis |
21A | Brophy | 3 | 19th Worcester | Open |
21B | Brophy | 3 | 4th Middlesex | Danielle Gregoire |
21C | Brophy | 3 | 7th Middlesex | Jack Lewis |
